Jack Philips

Jack Philips is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Asset Portfolio at Direct Energy since January 2014. In this role, Jack oversees the Asset Trading, Asset Operations, and Asset Optimization Teams, while developing strategies to enhance the Northeast generation portfolio's performance and ensuring compliance with ISO processes. Prior to this position, Jack held various roles at Hess Corporation, PSEG Energy Resource and Trade, and PSEG, demonstrating a strong background in electric operations, load forecasting, and energy supply management. Jack's foundational experience includes serving as an Electrical Systems Specialist in the United States Air Force. Jack holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
