Shipul Patel

Shipul Patel has over 28 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the telecommunications industry. Shipul is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Direct Line.us since September 2020. Prior to this, Shipul worked at Infinera for 7 years, starting as a Senior Director - Services in July 2013 and leaving in August 2020. In this role, they successfully stabilized the Services team and ensured timely escalation support for customers. Before joining Infinera, Shipul held multiple senior director positions at Ciena. Shipul was responsible for driving revenue growth and building a Global Consulting Engineering Practice. Shipul also led services and operations for Tier 1 North American and Canadian accounts, as well as for the entire North American region. Earlier in their career, they worked at CID Technologies and Electronic Warfare Associates as a Principal Engineer and Engineering Lead, respectively. Throughout their career, Shipul has been recognized for their strategic thinking, team building, negotiation skills, and ability to achieve revenue goals.

Shipul Patel has a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Patel has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, also from Drexel University. Patel has obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University.
