Megan Fairchild is the Senior Account Manager at Direct Source. Megan has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on database management. Megan started their career as a Database Manager at Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC in August 2003. In this role, they managed a team of ten database administrators and was responsible for defining project scopes, aligning assignments, and designing and administering 130 production Oracle and SQL Server databases. Megan also created database upgrade guidelines and environment refresh policies for the enterprise, and defined company standards for business continuity including high availability, data redundancy, and disaster recovery. In September 2006, Megan took on the role of Database Software Engineer at Volt Information Systems. In this role, they supported Microsoft business critical systems, tested and implemented system builds, designed infrastructure for application scalability, executed infrastructure modernization through migration and consolidation planning, and developed and maintained enterprise business continuity solutions. Megan then returned to Innova Systems Internaltional in February 2006 as their Database Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, security, backup and recovery. Megan has a proven track record of success in managing and supporting complex database environments and is an expert in database administration and software engineering.
