Derek Petillo

Derek Petillo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Derek is currently working at DirectBooks as the Director and Lead Engineer. Prior to this, Derek held the position of VP of Engineering at Street Diligence, Inc. for five years. Derek also worked as a Development Manager at Thomson Reuters for three years and as a Senior Architect and Senior Developer at Bank of America for a total of six years. Derek's earlier experience includes working as a Systems Programmer at Reich & Tang and as a Software Developer at Computer Associates.

From 1999 to 2003, Derek Petillo attended Stony Brook University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
