Ivan Manjarrez

Ivan Manjarrez is an experienced security professional currently serving as an Associate Security Consultant at DirectDefense since March 2024. Prior to this role, Ivan worked at NCC Group in various positions including Technical Security Consultant and Associate Security Consultant from February 2021 to February 2023. In addition, Ivan held the position of Security Software Engineer at Planet for a brief period and served as a Security Consultant at NCC Group earlier in 2020. Ivan possesses expertise in web application penetration testing, contributed to the development of a Burp Suite extension in Java, and has a solid understanding of security methodologies, offensive tools, and code review. Ivan holds an Associate's degree in Application Security from Merritt College and has a background in education from Year Up United and Chabot College.
