Simon Pineau

Simon Pineau is currently the Chef du bureau de l'énergie, des participations, de l'industrie et de l'innovation at the Direction du Budget and serves as an administrator representing the State at Bpifrance and Andra. Prior to this, Simon held the role of adjoint au chef du bureau des transports and adjoint au chef du bureau des recettes at the Direction du Budget - Bercy. Simon's previous experiences include positions as a junior analyst at BNP Paribas and Allianz France, a financial attaché at the French Treasury in Rabat, and a chargé de mission at the Cour des comptes. Simon taught public finance at Sciences Po during 2021-2022 and earned a Master's degree in Public Policy from the same institution, along with academic qualifications from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and ESSEC Business School.
