Alexander Young

Alexander Young has a diverse work experience across various industries. Alexander is currently the Director of Technical Operations at DirectTrust, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Network Services Technical Project Manager at DirectTrust from October 2020 to August 2023.

Before joining DirectTrust, Alexander worked at Ascend Learning as an Enterprise Applications Software Engineer from February 2020 to October 2020.

Their earliest work experience includes various roles at DataFile Technologies, starting as a ROI Account Services Representative in August 2015, followed by positions as a ROI Support Representative and ROI Implementation Representative. Alexander then progressed to become an Implementation Coordinator/Project Lead, where they successfully led over 100 new client implementations. Alexander also served as a Development Strategist/Project Manager, focusing on system interoperability and creating new products and services. Additionally, they worked as a Project Delivery Manager/Data Integration & DevOps Engineer, receiving recognition for professional development.

Alexander's international work experience includes teaching English at Korea Herald Academy from November 2013 to August 2015 and serving as an Instructor at the Sogang Language Program from April 2012 to April 2013. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong background in technical operations, project management, and software engineering.

Alexander Young obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Alexander later pursued Full Stack Web Development at the same university from 2018 to 2019. In addition, they hold certifications in TEFL Business English from TEFL CTBE and in Bloomberg - Equities/Foreign Exchange from Bloomberg LP, obtained in 2013 and 2011 respectively.
