David Stoyanov

David Stoyanov is a seasoned finance and operations executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as VP of Operations at Directus since September 2024 and as an Advisor at Air Reading since July 2022, David combines a passion for accessible education with tech-enabled solutions. David is also a member of Operators Guild, collaborating with operations professionals to share best practices. Previous positions include fractional CFO at Andiron, VP of Finance and Finance Director at Hone, and Finance Director at VIPKid, where David established financial reporting standards. Additionally, David has experience in finance and accounting roles at Sift and Sound Strategies & Solutions, Inc., and held finance and operations management positions at Ellumus LLC and co-founded ExcelPhysics LLC. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Washington.
