Bill Schully

William (Bill) Schully is a seasoned broadcast engineering professional with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Associate Director of Tech Services Physical Infrastructure for AT&T/DIRECTV. Since 2008, Bill has managed a team of Regional Field Engineers focused on technical operations for LOCAL Collection Facilities across the country. Prior to this role, Bill was the Director of Engineering for CBS-owned stations in Dallas, overseeing a team of over 50 engineers and leading the transition to HD broadcasting. Bill's extensive career includes collaborations with major networks such as CBS, NBC News, and ESPN, and Bill is active in industry organizations like SBE and SMPTE, while also serving as an advisory member of the FCC’s CSRIC Council. Additionally, Bill is a former Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, where they led technical installations in the Communications Command.
