Paul Weisbecker

Paul Weisbecker is currently the Chief Data Privacy Executive and Senior Legal Counsel at DIRECTV, a position they have held since 2021. They previously served as Executive Director and Chief Litigation Counsel at Cingular Wireless from 2004 to 2007 and held various senior legal roles at AT&T between 2012 and 2014. Paul began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at Long Weinberg Ansley & Wheeler and later at Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial. They earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and are pursuing a B.A. in Economics and Latin American Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with participation in a year-long study abroad program at the Universidade de São Paulo.
