Richard Wellerstein

Richard Wellerstein is currently the AVP of Content at DIRECTV and has served as VP of Content Acquisition, Programming, and Planning at AT&T since 2005. Previously, Richard held the position of VP of Library Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment from 1998 to 2000 and served as Vice President of Programming at iN DEMAND Networks from 2001 to 2005. Richard also worked as a Senior Manager of Program Acquisition at DIRECTV, Inc. from 1993 to 1998, and began their career as an Executive Production Assistant at CBS Entertainment between 1984 and 1987. Richard is pursuing a BA in Communication Studies at UCLA and completed an Executive Leadership Program at USC Marshall School of Business in 2010.
