The business is built on three key pillars:

🔎 Curated Wine Club
The Discerning Sommelier Wine Club is all about introducing members to thoughtfully selected wines from around the world. Each month, members receive two carefully chosen bottles, accompanied by detailed tasting notes and stories behind the wines. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just starting your wine journey, this club offers a fun, educational, and delicious experience. Plus, I offer personalized recommendations for those looking to build their collections or find the perfect bottle for a special occasion.

🍷 Private Tastings
One of my greatest joys is bringing people together over wine. With Discerning Sommelier, I offer private wine tastings tailored to any occasion. Whether it’s an intimate gathering, a corporate event, or a celebration with friends, I’ll curate a memorable tasting experience. From regional deep-dives to themed tastings like “Wines of the Mediterranean” or “Old World vs. New World,” I create events that are both entertaining and educational. For an added touch, I can also arrange cheese and chocolate pairings, making it a fully immersive experience.

🚐 Northern Virginia Winery Tours
Living in Virginia has given me access to some of the most exciting wineries in the country. Through Discerning Sommelier, I offer customized winery tours in Northern Virginia. These aren’t your average tours — they’re carefully curated to highlight the region’s finest producers. Thanks to my relationships with local winemakers, my guests enjoy behind-the-scenes access, guided tastings, and insights into the winemaking process. Whether you’re a couple seeking a relaxing day in wine country or a small group celebrating a special occasion, I ensure an unforgettable experience.
