Jose Mera

Jose Mera has worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Discogs since 2020. Prior to that, they were a Web Developer for Sentry Data Systems on a contract basis in 2019. In 2016, they worked as a Web Application Developer for Precision Castparts, where they built a custom application for a central repository of legal contracts and a revenue recognition accounting tool. Jose also held two Senior PHP Developer roles on a contract basis for Nike in 2015, one of which involved developing a workflow app for Photography Operations. In 2014, they were a Senior Web Developer on a contract basis for CMD. In 2013, they took a sabbatical. From 2011 to 2010, they worked as a PHP Developer for Roku, where they worked on shop.roku.com, and as a PHP Developer on a contract basis for Downstream Media, where they built a custom CMS. Lastly, in 2010, they worked as a PHP Web Developer for expresscopy.com.

Jose Mera received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 1995, with a minor in Mathematics.
