Dabney Dayes is a highly experienced product design professional with a diverse background in leading design teams and initiatives across major tech companies. Currently serving as Director of Product Design at Discord since January 2022, Dabney previously held positions such as Senior Product Design Manager and Principal Designer at notable organizations including Netflix, Instacart, and Airbnb. At Instacart, Dabney founded and led the first cross-company design systems team, enhancing the visual design and front-end infrastructure for all digital products. Earlier roles include Design Lead at Instagram, focusing on the Notifications team, and Product Designer at Facebook, where Dabney contributed to the Unified Inbox for small and medium-sized businesses. Educational credentials include a BA in Art History (Honors) from the University of Washington.
