Aaron Lum

Aaron Lum has over 15 years of work experience in the microscopy and imaging industry. Aaron is currently serving as the Regional Microscopy Sales Manager at Discover Echo Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Olympus Life Science as a Microscopy Sales Representative from July 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they were employed at Technical Instruments for 12 years, starting in October 2006. In this role, Aaron provided consulting sales and support for microscopy and microscopy-related equipment, including imaging, micromanipulation, and automation. At Technical Instruments, they also offered servicing, training, and custom parts and programming for microscopy systems. Additionally, Aaron worked as a Project Scientist at UC Davis from January 2005 to October 2006 and as a Postdoc from January 2004 to December 2004.

Aaron Lum received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego in 1998. Aaron then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of California, Davis, which they completed in 2003. Prior to their university education, Aaron Lum attended JFK HS, although the specific dates and degree obtained are unknown.
