Stephen Douthwright

Stephen Douthwright, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advanced imaging and live-cell imaging technologies. Currently serving as Global Director of Advanced Imaging at Discover Echo Inc. since July 2022, Stephen oversees global commercial activities, designs training for sales and applications teams, and manages a global Field Application Scientist team. Previously, as National Sales Manager at CELLINK, Stephen led the establishment of the U.S. sales and applications teams for a live-cell imaging division, achieving significant revenue growth and launching a new portfolio. With a background in technical sales and applications support for various imaging systems, Stephen has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive sales performance and foster product growth throughout a career that includes roles at leading organizations such as Essen BioScience and The Jackson Laboratory. Stephen holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
