Daniel Bassoni

Daniel Bassoni is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in assay development and cell biology. Currently serving as a Scientist in Assay Development at DiscoveRx since 2006, Daniel is responsible for the development of cell-based assays, management of custom assay projects for clients, and oversight of laboratory operations and data management. A key focus includes mentoring a team involved in assay development and cell line generation. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Research Scientist II, where responsibilities included the development and validation of GPCR β-Arrestin recruitment and cAMP signaling cell assays. Daniel began a career in research as a Research Associate at Vitra Biosciences from 2001 to 2005, contributing to the CellCard™ System for analyzing biological responses in mammalian cell lines. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
