Benjamin Wunderlich

Benjamin Wunderlich currently serves as the Director of Scientific Project Management and Category Manager at Discovery Life Sciences since July 2021, leading a team of project managers. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Project Manager at Targos Molecular Pathology GmbH from April 2015 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved overseeing operational activities for biomarker analyses in over twenty clinical trials and managing projects for more than ten sponsors. From July 2012 to March 2015, Benjamin held the position of Project Manager at Erasmus MC, and prior to that, served as a Postdoc at both Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and as a PhD student focusing on molecular virology. Benjamin began his career in the life sciences sector as a temporary employee at Pharmaserv GmbH & Co. KG and previously worked as a parcel deliverer for DHL. Education includes a PhD in Virology from The University of Freiburg and a Master's degree in Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg.
