Adéle Goosen

Adéle Goosen is the Head of Actuarial Consolidation at Discovery Life, where they lead the actuarial function and manage actuarial audits for several life insurance companies, including one of the largest in South Africa. Previously, Adéle held roles at EY, Towers Watson, and Old Mutual, where they developed products and advised clients on risk management and economic capital. Adéle earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Mathematics and an Honours Degree in Actuarial Science from Stellenbosch University, and is currently pursuing further qualifications with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. A transformative leader, Adéle is dedicated to mentoring the next generation while also enjoying nature and gardening as a proud parent of two.
