Dave MacReady

Dave Macready currently serves as Chairman of the Group Audit Committee at Discovery Limited since February 2020. Previously, Dave held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Old Mutual Wealth & Investments and was a Group Executive Member at Old Mutual Limited from 2017 to 2019. Earlier roles include Chief Executive Officer at Old Mutual South Africa (2015-2017) and various executive positions at Nedbank from 2004 to 2015, culminating as Group Managing Executive of Nedbank Wealth. Additionally, Dave was the Managing Director of Syfrets Private Bank and Syfrets International Asset Management from 1997 to 2003, and partnered at Deloitte UK and Deloitte and Touche in South Africa from 1987 to 1997. Educational qualifications include participation in the International Directors Programme at INSEAD, a Senior Executive Programme at Harvard University, and multiple degrees from the University of Cape Town, including Chartered Accountant qualifications from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
