Discovery Toys (DT) has been helping parents to "Teach. Play. Inspire." with our high-quality educational toys, books, games and music for over three decades.  Specializing in educational toys, the company follows the party plan direct sales model: in-home personal presentation, demonstration, and sale of products to consumers, primarily through parties, and also through specialty events.

Dedicated to learning through play, Discovery Toys is the foremost direct marketer of educational toys for children 0 to 8+ years of age.  DT gives parents, primarily women, and educators an opportunity to turn their passion for helping children learn into profit, earning as much income as they want to earn through commission and bonuses.

Discovery Toys was founded by early childhood educator, Lane Nemeth, in 1978 with a $5,000 family loan.  By 1982, the company had $4.6 million in revenue and 2500 sales "consultants."  Ms. Nemeth grew the company to $100M in annual revenue by 1997 then sold the company to Avon who sold it in 2002 to a private equity group.  Discovery Toys CEO is Jerry Salerno.

Today, Discovery Toys is the leader in learning toys for early childhood education as the foremost direct marketing company of its kind.
