Daniel Roop is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products since April 2008, Daniel has held multiple leadership positions, including Director of Reference Architecture and Cloud Migration, and Technical Director of Reference Architecture. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Westgate Resorts, where enhancements to a vacation booking application were made, and as a Database Administrator/Application Developer at Foreign Currency Exchange Corporation, focusing on intranet solutions. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2004.
