Jon Yu is a seasoned professional in industrial engineering with extensive experience in the entertainment and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Industrial Engineering at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products since June 2016, Jon has played a pivotal role in developing new Food & Beverage locations, collaborating with various teams to enhance guest experiences while meeting operational and financial objectives. Prior to this, Jon worked at Disneyland Resort from October 2010 to June 2016 as a Senior Industrial Engineer, contributing to the opening of over 15 new or redesigned Food & Beverage locations as part of a significant expansion plan. Earlier professional experience includes managing safe-ride services as Field Supervisor for USC Campus Cruiser and internships at BP, where key initiatives in continuous improvement and data analysis were implemented. Jon holds a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a minor in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California, completed in 2010.
