Brian Coburn

Brian Coburn is a Principal Data Scientist at The Walt Disney Company, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Coburn served as a Data Scientist at Cogitativo, Inc. and as Director of Data Science & Data Architecture at PwC. Coburn's academic journey includes a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Miami, where they also completed an MS in Mathematics. Earlier in their career, Coburn conducted research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on biomedical and geospatial modeling of HIV epidemics, and has experience as both an Adjunct Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in mathematics.
