Corey Katz

Corey Katz is currently a Lead Data Scientist at Disney Streaming and a Ph.D. Candidate studying Statistics at the University of California, Irvine, where they also pursue research in sports analytics and forensics. Prior to their current roles, Corey was a Graduate Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Learning Assistant, and Reader at UC Irvine, where they developed a passion for teaching and shared their enthusiasm for statistics. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics, as well as a Master of Science and are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the same institution. Corey's early career included roles at Target and Philadelphia Insurance Companies, where they honed their communication and project management skills.
