David Foster

David Foster is a Principal Counsel at The Walt Disney Company and serves as a Patent Attorney for ESPN. They began their legal career as a Summer Associate at Dickstein Shapiro Morin in 1995 and then worked as an Associate at Kenyon & Kenyon from 1996 to 2000, focusing on patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing. After holding positions as Intellectual Property Counsel at Novalux and Actel Corporation, they became Interim Division Counsel at Microsemi before joining Disney and ESPN in 2011. David holds a BSE in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School.
