David Silverman

David Silverman is an independent animation professional with extensive experience in the industry. They served as supervising director on "The Simpsons" at Film Roman from 1992 to 1996, and later co-directed "The Road to El Dorado" at DreamWorks Animation from 1996 to 1998. They have held various roles related to "The Simpsons," including consulting producer and director at The Walt Disney Company since 2007, and consulting producer/director at 20th Century Fox from 2002 to 2003. Silverman also co-directed "Monsters, Inc." at Pixar Animation Studios from 1998 to 2001, and worked as a story consultant for Blue Sky Studios on "Ice Age." They completed their education at UCLA, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Animation.
