Gerard Devan JP (He)

Gerard Devan is Group Executive of The Walt DIsney Company and heads the Disney APAC team. He is a Senior Executive within the greater Walt Disney platform reporting to the Global Executive Team. Gerard Devan is responsible for Disney's content and production development, revenue growth, operations, content creation and growth for Australia, NZ, The Pacific and specific regions within South Asia. He has direct responsibility for the APAC prime-time program creation for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Hulu, Walt Disney Pictures, Animation Studios, Disney Experiences & Entertainment, ESPN, FX, Fox Network Group, 20th Century Fox, Disney Streaming & Imagineering, Star Wars™, National Geographic, ABC (USA) in Australia, Disney Comics, Disney Consumer Product Group, and Star among other programmatic content. Gerard Devan and his APAC team are further responsible for partnerships Cinematic corporations, Television networks, streaming media services, video on demand (VOD) services, or over-the-top (OTT) media services as well as other multi-media platforms. Disney has formed strategic alliances with brand partners for content creation and co-production of programs as well as distribution across its many partner platforms. Gerard Devan manages those partnerships within Online, Television, Cinematic and related providers which are shared across the APAC and global regions. Disney shares strategic partnerships with Telstra Exchange, Amazon Prime, Free to Air Network Television and the Cinema Networks for developing and delivery of content, sharing complex commercial partnerships across Australia and the globe. Gerard Devan and his APAC team in Disney leads the management of those strategic partnerships generating much of the region's multi-billion-dollar revenues. Gerard is a graduate of the University of Wollongong with two undergraduate degrees and a postgraduate degree completed over the years in the ICT, Business Technology, Science and Technology fields, Communications and Media fields. Gerard is currently completing a Law Degree at The University of Sydney's LPAB program. Gerard Devan is member of the Trans-Tasman Business Circle and The Executive Connection CEO Networking Forum.
