James Carroll

James Carroll possesses a robust legal and tax background with significant expertise in corporate tax matters and compliance. Carroll served as Senior Director II, Tax Counsel at ESPN, Inc. from August 2007 to January 2015, focusing on corporate and partnership tax, as well as transfer pricing. Prior to ESPN, Carroll held positions at Day Pitney LLP and Shipman & Goodwin LLP, where responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, state tax planning, and civil and criminal tax litigation. Since January 2015, Carroll has been Tax Counsel, Corporate at Disney Financial Services, LLC, managing areas such as streaming services tax implications, media joint ventures, and federal and state tax controversies. Carroll earned a J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law between 1995 and 1998.
