Lainie Trout

Lainie Trout, MA, possesses extensive experience in unscripted production, casting, and diversity advocacy within the entertainment industry. From January 2007 to September 2014, Lainie worked as a Contractor in various roles, including Assistant, Coordinator, and Sequester Manager at Our House Productions, where responsibilities included managing production office setups and developing schedules. As a Team Lead at The Walt Disney Company since December 2011, Lainie has successfully curated onboarding materials for contract performers and led daily operational strategies for Character Operations. Most recently, between May 2022 and October 2023, Lainie served as a RA and DEI Advocate for Disney Live Entertainment, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the Creative Costuming Department and gaining recognition as a DEI advocate. Lainie holds a Master’s degree in Management of Art and Culture from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Arts from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
