Disparity in Dentistry (DnD) is a University of Florida student organization dedicated to closing the gaps in oral healthcare access that leave many communities behind, with a particular focus on underserved populations and patients with special needs.
We exist to educate and mobilize the next generation of dental professionals. Through a series of lectures and workshops, our members learn directly from dentists, professors, and clinicians about access to care, special-needs dentistry, and the real barriers patients face. We pair that learning with hands-on community engagement alongside partner organizations across Gainesville and beyond.
Whether you are pre-dental, pre-health, or simply passionate about health equity, DnD is a place to learn, connect, and make a tangible difference. Join us as we work to make quality dental care something everyone can reach.
