Barbra Sasu has extensive experience in the field of oncology research, focusing on CAR T, cellular immunotherapy, and cancer immunotherapy. They served as Chief Scientific Officer at Allogene Therapeutics from 2018 to 2023 and currently hold the same title at Dispatch Bio. Previously, Sasu was a Principal Scientist at Amgen from 2001 to 2013 and led discovery biology at Pfizer's Rinat division between 2017 and 2018. They earned a First Class BSc Hons in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMIST and completed a PhD in transcription regulation in hematopoietic progenitors at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research.
