Dan Piraner is a CAR-T Engineer and Synthetic Biologist currently serving as a Senior Scientist III at Dispatch Bio. They completed their postdoctoral research in cell therapy engineering at the University of California, San Francisco from 2019 to 2024. Dan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Caltech, where they were a graduate student from 2012 to 2019, and previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Purdue University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they undertook undergraduate research at Amgen in 2011.
