Michael Ball

Michael Ball serves as the Associate Director of Translational Science at Dispatch Bio, a position held since July 2025. Previously, Michael worked at Carisma Therapeutics from February 2021 to April 2025 as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in Translational Sciences. Michael's earlier experience includes a Senior Scientist role in Immunology at TCR² Therapeutics Inc. from November 2018 to February 2021, where responsibilities involved designing assays for TRuC T cells against various tumor targets and developing complex flow panels. Michael's foundation in immunology was further established at Oncorus as a Principal Associate Scientist, focusing on oncolytic HSV-1 payloads. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Experimental and Molecular Medicine from Dartmouth College, where research involved the study of synthetic triterpenoids in breast cancer, and also holds a degree in Biomolecular Science from Clarkson University.
