Josh Dunn

Josh Dunn's work experience begins in 2011 when they worked as a Freelance 3D Animator at Pendulum Studios. In this role, they showcased their skills in creating photorealistic 3D animations and demonstrated proficiency in various animation techniques.

In 2012, they joined Hostgator.com as a Junior Systems Administrator. Here, they provided technical support to customers, resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience through effective communication.

From 2013 to 2016, Josh worked at IBEX | Global as an In-Team Trainer. Josh trained new employees and developed training materials, utilizing their proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Josh also collaborated with upper management to improve training programs and identify cost-saving measures.

In 2016, Josh joined Flooring Services as an Estimator. In this role, they measured floor plans, created order sheets, and effectively prioritized tasks to ensure timely delivery of results.

From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Digital Bazaar, Inc. as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer. Josh led frontend development projects using Vue.js, creating reusable components and translating designs into functional code to enhance user experience.

Currently, Josh is employed at Dispatch as a Software Engineer. Josh has demonstrated leadership skills by running the Quality Assurance Guild and actively participating in discussions regarding production issues. Josh has utilized React and Redux to develop and integrate new features into the application while also providing UI/UX design ideas and feedback to the team.

Josh Dunn completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Digital Media from Otis College of Art and Design, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2016, they pursued further education in Front End Web Development and Full Stack JavaScript from Treehouse. It is unknown when their studies at Treehouse concluded. Additionally, they obtained a CSS Certificate in April 2022 from HackerRank and a React (Basic) Certificate in the same month and year from the same institution.
