Mike S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mike started their career in 2012 as an Intelligence Analyst and Linguist with the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet, where they utilized their language skills and analytical abilities. In 2016, they joined the Army Special Forces (Airborne) as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant (Green Beret), providing tactical medical care and coordinating logistics for an Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA). Mike also played a significant role in maintaining medical proficiency and fostering cross-cultural relationships.

From 2022 to 2022, Mike worked at the Brookhaven National Laboratory as a Research Engineer - Computational Science. In this position, they focused on developing machine learning pipelines and web applications for materials science, collaborating with other institutions to drive innovation in materials science software.

Most recently, Mike joined Dispel in 2023 as a Product Operations engineer, specializing in integrations, solutions, and DevOps. Mike is responsible for configuring cloud infrastructure and customer networks to integrate a cloud-based cybersecurity platform. Additionally, they conduct product demonstrations and provides technical support to customers.

Mike S. has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry from Columbia University. Additionally, they hold several certifications including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, a National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, and a Tactical Paramedic Certification (TP-C) from USSOCOM. Mike obtained the NRP and TP-C certifications in August 2019, and they obtained the PMP certification in January 2023.
