Edmund Yap

Edmund Yap has extensive work experience in sales and management roles in the biosciences industry. Edmund is currently serving as the Managing Director and Director of Sales, Applications & Support for Biosciences Asia Pacific at BICO since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Sales Manager Asia Pacific at BICO from January 2021 to October 2021 and Sales Manager Asia Pacific from July 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining BICO, Edmund held the same position of Managing Director, Director of Sales, Applications & Support for Biosciences Asia Pacific at DISPENDIX and CYTENA, starting in July 2019.

Edmund also has experience as a Sales Representative in South East Asia for Essen BioScience and Sartorius Stedim Biotech from November 2016 to June 2019.

Earlier in their career, Edmund served as the Business Manager at Biomed Diagnostics Pte Ltd from January 2013 to November 2016, where they were responsible for developing and implementing regional strategies and leading a sales and marketing team for various biochemistry businesses.

Before that, they were a Sole Proprietor Entrepreneur from January 2011 to December 2012 and Sales and Marketing Manager at Cover Looks Academy and Studio from January 2010 to December 2011.

Edmund Yap has a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science - Biological Science from the National University of Singapore, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma Distinction in Biomedical Informatics and Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they have a Bsc Degree from the National University of Singapore, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
