Game Programmer at Disruptive Games

Eric M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Fulfillment Associate at Trade Show Internet, where they managed inventory, trained new employees, and collaborated with the marketing team to develop an email database. In 2017, they joined UC Berkeley Student Technology Services as a Student Technology Consultant, providing technical support to students and resolving numerous cases. Eric then became a Unit Supervisor, overseeing a team of 6, developing training materials, and maintaining devices and equipment in academic centers. In 2018, Eric took on roles in Game Design and Development at Berkeley, serving as a Lead Mentor, guiding student teams, running Unity bootcamps, and hosting various game development events. Eric also worked as a Facilitator, teaching Unity and game design principles to a class of 30 students and creating lectures and labs for the course curriculum. Most recently, Eric joined Disruptive Games as a Game Programmer in 2020, where they coded core systems, production tools, and gameplay mechanics for client studios, prototyped gameplay systems that attracted major publishers, and iterated on features based on regular playtesting.

Eric M. attended San Francisco University High School from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following their high school education, Eric enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 2016 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science in 2020.
