Robert Koopman

Robert Koopman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Robert is currently working as the Sales Director for Benelux & DACH at Disruptive Technologies, where they focus on affordable and easy-to-use sensors. Prior to this, they served as the Commercieel directeur at GIA Systems from 2017 to 2022. Robert has also worked for Yearn. as a Superconnector, Illuxtron International as the Chief commercial officer, and Attiva Lichtprojecten as the Directeur. Robert has a strong background in sales and marketing, particularly in the lighting industry, as evidenced by their roles at Philips Lighting. Notably, they have held positions such as Sales & Marketing Director LED Displays & Architectural Lighting, Sr. Segment Marketing manager, European Marketing Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and Product Group Manager during their time with Philips Lighting. Before transitioning to the private sector, Robert served in the Dutch Airforce as a 2nd Luitenant.

Robert Koopman completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Technische bedrijfskunde from the University of Twente. Robert also acquired a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Bedrijfskunde / MBA from the same institution. Robert'seducation spanned from 1985 to 1991.
