Joël Désiré

Joël Désiré holds extensive experience in product marketing and management within the building and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Vertical Markets Solution Management at Distech Controls since July 2019, Joël has previously held multiple senior product marketing roles at Schneider Electric from 2007 to 2019, focusing on innovative offers for building management systems (BMS) and integration strategies. Joël's responsibilities included defining the Mobile Apps strategy for BMS/HVAC and managing product lines such as AdaptiApps and SmartX Controller AD. Earlier career experiences include product marketing management for HMI and SCADA software at Schneider Automation, alongside technical management roles in IEC61131-3 software development. Joël has a Master's degree in Engineering and multiple certifications from various reputable institutions, reflecting a strong educational foundation in industrial computing and artificial intelligence.
