Robert Young began their career in 1989 as a Software Developer and Test Technician at Rockwell Collins. In 1999, they moved to National Instruments as a Staff Software Engineer. In 2004, they joined DISTek Integration, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they still hold today.
Robert Young attended Hawkeye Community College from 1987 to 1989, graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. Robert then attended Mount Mercy University from 1993 to 1999, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. In March 2016, Robert obtained a Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification from National Instruments.
