Shane Fox

Shane Fox is currently the Engineering Director at DoneDeal, a position they have held since February of 2019. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager - Platform at Distilled from September 2017 to February 2019. Shane started their career at DoneDeal.ie in January 2014 as a Core Team Lead / Senior Software Engineer and held that position until September 2017 when they transitioned to Distilled. Shane was with DoneDeal.ie from September 2011 to January 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer / Researcher at TSSG Waterford Institute of Technology from September 2008 to October 2011. Shane's first job out of college was with IBM as a Software Development Engineer from November 2005 to August 2008.

Shane Fox has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Electronic Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin. Shane also has a Masters in Electronic Systems from Dublin City University.
