Ben Jones

Ben Jones has a strong background in the renewable energy industry. From 2019 onwards, they worked as the VP of Design and Engineering at Distributed Solar Development, LLC, where they led a team to design and construct large-scale solar and energy storage projects in the US. Ben was responsible for overseeing the entire process, including financing, vendor management, and installation. Prior to this, Ben worked at GE as the Director of Structural Engineering from 2015 to 2019. Ben began their career at S:FLEX in 2011 as the Vice President of Business Development and held the position until 2015.

Ben Jones attended Brunel University London from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineer - BEng degree in Manufacturing Engineering with German. In addition, they also studied at ETH Zürich from 1992 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Technology.
