Throughout their career, Alex has led initiatives in threat detection and response, specializing in ransomware negotiations and incident response management. They have held leadership roles at various firms and have built security operations centers from the ground up, while also contributing to major cybersecurity publications and speaking at industry conferences. Currently, Alex is a Director of DFIR at DTG and continues to provide expert advisory services through their own firm, Waintraub Cyber Solutions.
