Gerry Vanderpost

Gerry Vanderpost has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Gerry began their career at Ernst & Young in 1994, working in audit until 1997. Gerry then joined Canadian Tire, where they held various roles such as Manager of Real Estate Finance & Accounting and Manager of Treasury and Corporate Finance. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the AVP of Retail Financial Planning & Analysis and Director of Marketing Finance. Vanderpost then moved to Primus Telecommunications Canada, Inc. in 2009, where they worked as the Vice President of Finance until 2015. Since 2015, they have held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Distributel.

Gerry Vanderpost has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with an Honours chartered accountancy option from the University of Waterloo. Gerry also obtained a Chartered Accountant designation from CICA in 1994.
