Nigel Guerin

Nigel Guerin has worked in the telecommunications industry for several years, with experience at both Distributel and Bell. Nigel started their career at Bell in 2008, where they held the position of Manager - Service Assurance. In this role, Nigel led incident resolution with external partners, coordinated with internal teams and suppliers, and presented results and action plans to strengthen troubleshooting and project cohesion. Nigel also traveled internationally to oversee business initiatives and serve as a multicultural corporate liaison. From 2016 to 2020, Nigel held the role of Manager - Customer Experience at Bell, where they initiated and oversaw projects to automate system performance, acted as a subject matter expert and business analyst, and managed relationships with external partners. In 2020, Nigel joined Distributel as a Team Leader in Carrier Operations, where they managed a team of specialists, coordinated daily workflow, and ensured accuracy of completed work. Nigel was later promoted to the role of Team Manager, where they developed relationships with management, facilitated a service improvement culture, provided technical insight, and identified growth opportunities.

Nigel Guerin completed their education at Athabasca University from 2019 to 2023, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree. Prior to that, they attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they studied Photonics Engineering without completing a specific degree.
