Ivan Choo

Ivan Choo has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Ivan started their career in 2003 as a Business Manager/Engineer at Air-Tec Marketing Associates Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for sales and marketing of company products in the aerospace industry. From 2006 to 2012, Ivan worked as an Area Sales Manager at Tyco Flow Control, overseeing after-market sales activities and leading a team of engineers in Singapore. In 2012, Ivan joined Weir Power & Industrial as a Regional Sales Manager, covering the oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, and power industries in the APAC region. Since 2015, Ivan has been working at DistributionNOW, starting as an Area Sales Manager for Valves in Asia and eventually becoming the Country Manager. In January 2020, they took on the role of Technical Sales Director. Ivan's experience includes conducting technical training, identifying and developing key accounts, and providing sales and technical service to major customers.

Ivan Choo earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Engineering Business Management from Coventry University in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1992-1995.
