Mercy D

Mercy D has work experience spanning from 2021 to the present. They have worked as an AI Software Developer at Distributive since 2023. Prior to that, Mercy held the role of Director of Design (NLP) at QMIND starting in March 2023. At QMIND, they also worked as an NLP Project Manager, leading a team in creating an NLP model to detect vulnerabilities in code. Mercy presented these results at the Canadian Undergraduate AI Conference in 2023.

Before joining QMIND, Mercy worked as the Vice President of Operations at Queen's COMPSA from April 2022 onward and also served as the Governance and Internal Affairs Director from May 2021 to April 2022. They co-founded QLANG in March 2022 and were actively involved with the company.

In terms of their academic experience, Mercy was an Orientation Leader at Queen's University in 2021 and served as a Teaching Assistant for CISC 121 and Math Investigations courses. They were a Cybersecurity Research Mentee at Google from May 2022 to September 2022. Lastly, Mercy worked as a Marketing Executive at QUANTT from May 2021 to April 2022.

Mercy D completed their Secondary School education from 2016 to 2020, where they received their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled in Queen's University in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2024 with an Honors Bachelor of Computing degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
