Michael Moore

Michael Moore is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Since August 2019, Michael Moore has served as Chief Executive of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA). Additionally, Michael Moore is an Honorary Governor of the Ditchley Foundation and Chairman of the Borders Book Festival. Previous roles include Senior Adviser at PwC, Advisory Board Member at Edinburgh Business School, and Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2015. Michael Moore also held visiting professorship and directorship positions with various educational and environmental organizations, demonstrating a commitment to both policy development and community engagement. Michael Moore earned an MA (Hons) in Politics and Modern History from The University of Edinburgh.
