Ditiro is a black women-owned and led private equity fund manager established in 2019, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are long-term investors who have our roots in the country and are invested in the South African story – a country with significant challenges and opportunities abound as well. We have a keen understanding of the market, are leveraging our experience and capital raised from investors to achieve our dual objectives of generating positive financial and social returns through our investments. 

Ditiro invests in medium-sized, unlisted businesses in sectors with sustainable growth prospects, such as healthcare, food-processing and manufacturing.  We provide equity risk capital for growth or replacement purposes while partnering with co-investors to achieve the strategic objectives of our portfolio companies over the investment period.  

We have integrated Environmental, Social and Governance (‘ESG’) in our investment process and assist our portfolio companies in managing the risks and optimising the opportunities arising from ESG factors affecting their businesses. Ultimately, our objective is to ensure that our portfolio companies remain sustainable businesses that have positive impact in their ecosystems.
